Doctors had to part of Bill Jordan's left pinky after a man Thursday away a bag an iPad that Mr. Jordan had just purchased at a Denver mall.

Bill Jordan, 59, had the cord of the bag around his left hand when the thief

He kept pulling until something gave, and it wound up being my finger,said Bill.
